The artist studied civil engineering at the Wrocław University of Technology, but his artistic talent emerged already at an early age. His paintings are charged with symbolism, often referring to the human psyche and the relationship between humans and the world around them. This gives his images a dark and mysterious feel. His technique, developed over many years, testifies to the artist’s great sensitivity and talent, who is now particularly appreciated for his keen attention to detail and masterful use of color. In 2005, Kopera settled in Northern Ireland, where he currently lives.

In my work I try to reach to the subconscious. I want to keep the viewer’s attention for a longer moment. Make him want to reflect, contemplate.
