Eight years ago, the Cavatina Group from Krakow began building an art collection that is truly unique: it comprises works by the most important Polish painters of the second half of the 20th century, as well as pieces by international artists from the USA, the Netherlands, and France.
Among the key works in the collection, now offered for sale, is Girl with a Floral Scarf (1939) by Moïse Kisling, an artist who was part of the same circle as Chagall and Modigliani. Also noteworthy is the large-format seascape Z-14 (1987) by Zdzisław Beksiński, arguably the most prominent Polish painter of the 20th century. As representatives of Surrealism, Jacek Yerka, Rafał Olbinski, and Tomasz Pietrzyk possess an inexhaustible wellspring of imaginative ideas. Edward Dwurnik, one of the best-known and most prolific Polish painters, is also represented in the collection. The works of Rafał Bojdys radiate wit and joy; his favorite subjects are racing drivers and winter sports athletes. For the first time in Germany, our gallery presents works by the French artist Kerdalo, which capture the vibrant spirit of Parisian boulevards.
These and many other artists can be discovered during a visit to our gallery. Come and immerse yourself in the imaginative worlds of these exceptional artworks.
